Tinnitus Jaw Pain
Theres a hissing noise in my ear, do I have tinnitus?
About a week ago I was eating dinner and Everytime I bit down I noticed a hissing noise in my left ear only. Now, When I yawn or chew gum or eat I hear the noise. Its not earwax cuz I cleaned my ear and my ear was clean. Two days after I noticed the hissing noise the left side of my jaw started hurting so I wiggled my jaw left to right and the pain stopped. I havnt had the pain ever sicne but the hissing noise is still there. Do I need to go to the doctor? And if it is tinnitus wat do the doctors do to get rid of it? I know there is No cure but what do they do to help it? And lately I have had trouble sleeping and im 13 if that helps.
I’ve had Tinnitus for about 10 years, but I’ve never had pain in my jaw like that, and as far as I know it’s almost always a ringing sound. You might have tmj, but I would go to a doctor and get checked out.
