Tinnitus Neck Tension
What do these symptoms sound like to you? I am getting concerned?
I am a 32 Y.O. male
Constant feeling of being on the edge of getting dizzy…but I never do. It’s the weirdst sensation.
Tinnitus (constant high pitched hiss) in right ear, this showed up recently but I have always had mild tinnitus in both ears.
Tension headaches that are slightly relieved with shoulder massage.
Constant feeling that my neck is out of place. Like I want to pop it, but I can never get it into the right spot.
Anxiety problems with panic attacks
The dizzy sensation is more like a weird vibration passing through my head…it seems to be tied with the tinnitus.
I am looking for an answer besides “go see a doctor” I already know I should.
If you know you have anxiety problems and Panic attacks then you have answered your own question. Anxiety causes tension in your neck and shoulders which can lead to the tinnitus and the almost dizzy feeling. If you don’t like doctors try some alternatives like acupuncture, chiropractor, or massage therapy. At home try some relaxation techniques like meditation or stretching. The stretching of your neck will help quite a bit. Try tucking your chin into your neck then hold for about 10 to 20 seconds then repeat as much as you like and as frequently as you need. I have found it to be helpful and still do the stretches a few times a day. Another you might try is touching your ear to shoulder (or as far as is comfortable) hold 10-20 sec. Repeat with other side. Ultimately I believe it is the anxiety that is affecting you. Hopefully some of this helps. Good Luck!
