Tinnitus Vitamin B
ringing in the ears!?
my mom has had tinnitus for over a year now, its driving her crazy, & i feel really bad for her. i cant imagine having to listen to that all the time. i know there is no cure for tinnitus, & most docs say you have to learn to live with it, that really sucks! we can put a man on the moon, but cant stop the ears from ringing? for one, i wish she would go to the doc, but she doesnt like to go, but it could be something causin it that could be fixed. second, she just bought something called ribo-flavanoid(sp), basically just a vitamin, dont know if its improved yet or not. im wandering if anyone out there who suffers from tinnitus has found any ways to lessen the ringing? or any ways to tune it out? any help would be greatly appreciated b/c it hurts me to see her in such pain and aggravation from this, and knowing she has to live with it. THANKS!
My doctor gave me meds for it for 3 months. After about 6 weeks it was gone. He told me i somehow hurt the small hairs in my ears. He figured it was wax build up. and the skin around the hairs needed to heal and new hairs would grow with the swelling gone.
i hope for her sake it is as little as what i needed. I delt with it way to long, thinking it could not be healed after what i had read about it on the net. So sometimes it can be. Have her head in. And the doctor told me with allergies it is more common. If she has them fid ways of dealing with them in new ways and see if that helps.
