vertigo tinnitus hearing loss
I Ménières disease. Can I claim any benefits?

I had Ménières disease for about 9 years. Ménières is a chronic disease and I get attacks of vertigo, sickness, increased tinnitus and hearing loss for which I wear a hearing aid. I currently work full time, but I find it increasingly difficult. Does anyone know if I can claim any benefits while I am still a job? All advice appreciated.

yes you are entitled to benefit incompacity. This means that if your state effect work and you do not have work because of this condition then yes you are entitled. also, if someone has to do things for you that you are unable to do normal day to day things, and that the work of someone because they cannot help you, nobody can claim carers presence allocated, which is essentially the payments are made to them for taking time off work to help support. pop into your local Jobcentre and tell them you need a form to incompacity, and the need to talk to someone also on all the other benefits you can claim.
