Virus Tinnitus
Cold/Virus + Tinnitus…?
I’ve got a quite bad cold/virus and everything is clogged up? My nose, ears and throat feel clogged up/sore/painful.
I have noticed that my tinnitus in both ears is alot more, noticable? Is this normal? and will the tinnitus decrease volume after the cold has passed?
Also, are there any techniques I can use for sleep? I’m finding it harder to sleep at night because of it.
Lastly, I have noticed when I speak or say something the tinnitus gets slightly louder…

Try Nytol to relieve stuffy symptoms and help you sleep. It is an antihistamine called diphenhydramine. Speak to your pharmacist, read the leaflet in the packet.
Mine is worse when I am not well, I think it’s because being a bit under the weather gives us more time to think about it, it becomes more intrusive,
Mine is rumbling in the background at the moment as the washing machine has been spinning.
It is louder when the ears are blocked as with a cold.
